Status: 2025 · Sleep Inn Motel Paderborn (Uwe Scholle)
Please note: This English translation is for informational purposes only. The legally binding contract terms are governed exclusively by the German version.
1. Scope of Application
These terms and conditions apply to contracts for the rental provision of motel rooms for accommodation purposes as well as all further services and deliveries provided by Sleep Inn Motel Paderborn, operated by Uwe Scholle (hereinafter "Motel").
Subletting or re-letting of the rented rooms as well as their use for purposes other than accommodation require the prior written consent of the Motel.
2. Contract Conclusion, Partners, Statute of Limitations
The contract is concluded upon acceptance of the customer’s request by the Motel. When booking through the website or booking engine, the contract comes into effect upon receipt of the booking confirmation.
The contracting parties are the Motel and the customer. If a third party placed the booking for the customer, they shall be liable to the Motel together with the customer as joint and several debtors.
3. Services, Prices, Payment, Offsetting
The Motel is obligated to hold the rooms booked by the customer ready and to render the agreed services.
The customer is obligated to pay the applicable or agreed prices of the Motel for the room provision and further services utilized. This also applies to services arranged by the customer and expenses of the Motel to third parties.
Our house is a cashless motel. Payment is conducted exclusively cashless via debit or credit card during online booking or at the self-check-in terminal.
4. Customer Withdrawal (Cancellation)
A withdrawal by the customer from the contract concluded with the Motel requires the Motel’s written consent. If not granted, the agreed price from the contract remains payable even if the customer does not use the services.
If a date for cost-free withdrawal has been agreed in writing between the Motel and the customer, the customer may withdraw until that date without triggering payment or damage claims.
5. Room Availability, Handover, and Return
The customer acquires no claim to the provision of specific rooms unless expressly agreed in writing.
Booked rooms are available to the customer from 3:00 PM on the agreed arrival date. Check-in is conducted 24/7 via our automated self-check-in terminal.
On the agreed departure date, the rooms must be vacated and made available to the Motel by 11:00 AM at the latest. After that, the Motel may charge 50% of the daily room rate for delayed departure until 6:00 PM, and 90% thereafter.
6. House Rules / Non-Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire building. In the event of violation, the Motel is entitled to charge special cleaning costs (minimum €150.00) as well as any revenue losses due to unrentability.
Smoking is permitted exclusively in the designated outdoor areas.
Noise disturbance must be refrained from after 10:00 PM (night rest hours).
7. Liability of the Motel
The Motel is liable with the diligence of a prudent business for its contractual obligations. Customer claims for damages are excluded, except in cases of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty.
For items brought into the Motel, liability is governed by statutory provisions (§§ 701 et seq. BGB).
8. Parking Lot Usage
Provision of a parking space on the motel grounds does not constitute a safekeeping agreement.
In case of loss or damage to motor vehicles parked or maneuvered on the premises and their contents, the Motel is liable only in cases of intent or gross negligence.
9. Data Protection
Collection and processing of personal data occurs exclusively within the framework of statutory provisions (GDPR, BDSG).
Detailed information can be found in our separate Privacy Policy.
10. Final Provisions
Amendments or additions to the contract must be in writing. Unilateral changes by the customer are invalid.
